There is an invitation round by New Brunswick for eligible candidates in the Express Entry Pool held on June 1, 2021. Letter of Interest (LOI) from New Brunswick are issued to qualifying candidates on the basis of their Express Entry profile. Province has issued invitations for their interest.

New Brunswick’s Express Entry Stream

Eligibility requirements for New Brunswick’s Express Entry Stream are in many layers. Candidates with an Express Entry profile also meet the submission criteria and General Stream criteria. Along with the minimum points requirement.
New Brunswick’s Express Entry Stream Submission Criteria

Working for a New Brunswick employer with NOC skill type A, B or 0.

Currently living in New Brunswick and enrolled in a post-secondary institution. And this program must be eligible for a Post-Graduate work permit.

Get a letter of interest from New Brunswick on an Express Entry account.

General Stream Submission Criteria

Candidates must demonstrate their intention for living and settlement in New Brunswick.

The eligible connection depends on the need of the program.

New Brunswick Points System

Candidates meet the minimum score of 67 which depends on the following selection factors:

After getting the invitation

New Canadian PR Pathways For Essential Workers: Things You Must Know

Canada has recently made some changes in its immigration programs especially related to permanent residency. And these new Canadian PR pathways can work in the favor of those who come under the category of essential workers.

New PR Pathway Favors Foreign Workers in 135 Essential Jobs

The new Canadian permanent residency pathway is favorable for temporary foreign workers who are working in 135 essential occupations. From May 6 onwards these workers can apply for permanent residency pathways. Excluding Quebec, all the new immigrants can apply through this pathway to gain permanent residency status. The Canadian immigration officials will be giving PR to 50,000 new immigrants this year and essential workers stand a good chance of qualifying for it.

The program will be open until November 5, 2021 or until the spots for 20,000 healthcare workers and 30,000 essential workers are filled. Temporary foreign workers speaking French can also apply through PR pathway for French-speaking workers in essential occupations.

Importantly, there is no cap to this program as Canada accepts unlimited applications under this category as the country has been having trouble attracting French-speaking immigrants.

Are You Eligible For New PR Pathway?

To qualify under this PR pathway a temporary foreign worker must have worked for at least one year in the essential occupation in past 3 years. The pathway includes 40 occupations from the healthcare streams and 95 essential occupations. Those with a part-time experience of working for at least 1560 hours in the essential jobs can also apply through this pathway.

For both healthcare and essential occupations stream it is mandatory that the applicant must be employed in Canada at the time of submitting the application. Self-employed workers are not eligible to apply under this category unless they are in the field of medicine serving as a doctor with a Canadia

It’s official! Canada is the best country in the world.

Canada took first place in the recently released 2021 Best Countries Report from US News & World Report.

This is the first time Canada has claimed the top spot in the annual ranking. The country placed second in the 2020 report and was in third place in 2019.

Canada ranked #1 out of 78 countries, beating out Japan, Germany, Switzerland and Australia, which rounded out the top five. The United States came in sixth.

The ranking measures the global performance of each country based on a variety of metrics – Adventure, Agility, Cultural Influence, Entrepreneurship, Heritage, Movers, Open for Business, Power, Social Purpose and Quality of Life.

Canada got full marks for Quality of Life – which reflects political and economic stability, public safety and a good job market – and Social Purpose, which looks at social justice, human and animal rights, racial equity, gender equality and religious freedom.

The country also received high marks in the Agility, Entrepreneurship and Open for Business categories.

The rankings are determined through a survey of more than 17,000 people “who are broadly representative of the global population, with an emphasis on those who would deem the topic and findings most relevant to their lives.”

The analysis uses data and anecdotal evidence to determine how countries compare on several different global issues, such as racial equity and corruption.

The report notes that Canada is “perceived as having a good job market, caring about human rights, and is committed to social justice.”

The provincial nominee programs (PNIPs) of Canada are very much flexible. Each territory and province has the right to select student candidates who meet their requisites. They nominate the students who fulfill all the requirements for the Canadian permanent residence program.

Alberta’s Express Entry Stream
