Nofa Golf Resort consists of a fully grassed eighteen hole golf course, a driving range, a putting green and a club house. The golf course is 6,920 yards long from the back (white) tees, 6,335 yards long from the middle (yellow) tees and 5,788 yards long from the front (red) tees. The golf course has five Par 5 holes, four Par 3 holes and nine Par 4 holes, making it a Par 73 course. Barrie previou

sly worked on course design and construction in the U.K., Spain and Bahrain. With clever bunker placement and water hazards affecting twelve of the eighteen holes, the course will challenge even the most experienced golfer. Barrie remains a presence in Nofa, so there is a unique opportunity, after a round of golf, to make your views known to the man who conceptualised and constructed the course. You may even influence future developments of the course. The course had to be designed to allow for nine of the holes to be accommodated within the bounds of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Race Track. The upside of this is that thirteen of the eighteen holes are viewable from the race track camera towers should there be a need to record or televise a golf event. A unique feature of golf at Nofa is the small Safari Park situated between Holes 8 and 9. This park contains ostrich, arabian oryx, different species of small antelope and a pair of Pygmy Hippopotami. Future plans include a nine hole academy course.
