I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Malaita Provincial Government, particularly Sonia Fiumae, and Strongim Bisnis for their generous sponsorship of this trip. Your support has played a crucial role in the success of our participation at SPTE.

This marks our second attendance at SPTE, and it's exciting to see Malaita emerging as a new destination since our first SPTE in 2024. We have witnessed significant growth in tourist interest this year, which is encouraging for all involved. Last year, we presented two products, and I’m pleased to share that we have expanded our offerings to include three new products this year, with plans for further assessments in the future.

We would also like to acknowledge the contributions of Tourism Solomons and all operators from Guadalcanal, Western Province, and the Honiara City Council. Your collaborative efforts are vital in promoting the Solomon Islands as an attractive travel destination. Together, we can continue to make positive strides in tourism development.

What an incredible week it has been! From organizing training for tour guides to guiding a travel writer at Langalanga Lagoon and Haodaikirio, it has truly been a remarkable experience. I want to extend my gratitude to Strongim Bisnis for sponsoring this training for all our operators in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. A special thanks goes to our trainer, Bjorn.
