Bronze head Emperor “Augustus” .
Cast of Bronze head of Emperor “Augustus” discovered buried beneath the threshold of a temple in the royal city of meroe, this imperial head of Casesar , probably formed part of the plunder taken by the kush*tes during their raids upon Egyptian frontier in the late first century B.C.
The origin one in the British museum .

رأس من البرونز للإمبراطور الرومانى "أغسطس"
نموذج من البرونز لرأس الإمبراطور الرومانى "أغسطس" .. وجد مدفوناً بمعبد فى المدينة الملكية فى مروى .. ربما كان من ضمن الغنائم الذى أخذها الكوشيون أثناء حملاتهم على الحدود المصرية ضد الرومان فى القرن الأول قبل الميلاد .
توجد القطعة الأصلية بالمتحف البريطانى .
