The City Missions launches this week with 2 great outdoor escape room style missions.
Starting and ending at different locations within the centre of London, you'll be tasked with solving riddles via WhatsApp which have one word answers. Search these in What3Words to reveal the next location of your mission.
Each location requires a question to be answered based on what you can see around you, either visually or by having to do a bit of research, to then release the next 3 riddles to solve.
Make it to your final location picking up clues along the way for one final challenge to complete your mission.
Timed missions - these have a 90 minute or 2 hour limit depending on which mission you select. You can play as one group, or compete against other groups in an event you set up yourself - just select the number of groups you'd like for your game. Great for birthdays, team building and student groups, or simply fun with friends and family.
We recommend no more than 6 per group.
This mission type is best for competitive players.
Untimed missions - these are 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes depending which mission. More for those who wish to take in the sights and history at a leisurely pace.
All bookings have a start time and location and one person from each group must provide a WhatsApp number no later than 24 hours prior to your event time starting so we can add you to the system as you'll need to communicate with your Mission Boss using WhatsApp.
You'll also need the What3Words app, or you can use www.what3words.com in your browser.
We advise your phone to be as fully charged as possible, whilst perhaps using a second phone for navigating and seeking your next location. If you have a portable charger/power bank, this would be useful!
This is an all weather event so please dress appropriately.
Some paths may be uneven, have steps and perhaps be slippery when wet, so please be alert and keep children under supervision at all times.
