Feedback from last winter
Our family party of 7 (ages from 5 to 65) just returned from a fabulous ski holiday in Are.
We located Anders house easily using his instructions. Its uphill on small road in a very small residential area of similar houses. Parking for our 2 cars right outside.
As soon as we walked in we were delighted with the lovely modern warm feel of the house which has panoramic views over the lake. As we began to"live" there, it became the absolute embodiment of a "home from home" for all of us. Warm, clean, superbly equipped, comfortable clean beds and practical furniture. The kitchen had stacks of utensils and appliances and there were loads of groceries, cleaning and bathroom products etc. around the house with no need to rush out to the nearest ICA store (even though it was only 500 meters away!).
That to us marked out the true spirit of Airbnb when compared to a standard rental. If done well ,as in this case, its truly like walking into a house occupied by a similar family to us and just picking up living from where they just left off!
We of course left things similarly stocked up, as it only works if simultaneous guests adopt the same attitude!
We txted Anders a couple of times with minor queries (which we could have worked out if we had re-read his very good online house manual). He responded instantly each time. very reassuring!
The sauna was great, the wood-burner in the downstairs area made for a cosy evening sipping red wine.
There are 4 boot driers, a clothes drying cabinet and under floor heating just where you need it.
The only thing we hunted for was a hairdryer. Its not on the house inventory so we really could not expect it, but it was the one thing we forgot and the only thing we can think of that wasn't there that we have at home!! ( and the girls really missed it!!).
All in all- thanks Anders - Fabulous! We will be back!
