This year we had a very successful winter with guests from over 50 countries and all continents. For example from Sounth Korea, Marocco, Argentina, Ivory Coast, Malta and New Zealand. It was a winter filled with great memories, northern lights, great catches and a lot of laughs. We are already excited for next winter!

In the last few days we had unusually warm temperatures in Abisko. Although the conditions of the trails are challenging, we are taking it day by day. After the snowfall yesterday night we were able to continue offering our snowmobiletours. The most important thing to us is that our guests are staying safe during the tours and are having fun. I think you could say that these guests from Singapur and Australia were enjoying themselfs.

Some Impressions of the last weeks. We’re approaching the end of the season, and Abisko is bathed in spring sunshine. We see a variety of wildlife on our snowmobile tours: ptarmigan, moose, and arctic hares. On our snowshoe hikes, we’ll share stories about the land and its people. Did you know that during a full moon you can still see the northern lights but also the landscape around? This creates a surreal image, making it seem as if the photo was taken during the day. The moonlight can sometimes reflect so intensely off the snow that you can walk or hunt for the Northern Lights even without a flashlight. These images were taken by our Guide Fabian . He is guiding most of our Aurora Snowmobile Sled Tours. On this tour you get driven around in a sled and can observe the Northern Lights away from all artificial lights.
