This is the Facebook-site for the international Steampunk convention SilwerSteam, 7 – 9 September 2018 in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The faire takes place at the beautiful site of northern Europe´s largest steam engine hall, and the Machines are still working and will be running during the event! Expect fantastic costumes, props, larps, arts, contests, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and shows

The doors is locked to the museum. Next week it will return to the 21st century, because, Steampunk has left the building. (…for this year…)
SilwerSteam was a bit smaller than the previous years, but we all had a blast.
This was indeed Steampunk with a silver lining.
A huge hug to all steampunk enthusiasts, craftsmen and artists who made this year memorable. A huge hug to friends at SilwerSteam, old and new, as well as those we missed this year. Love to you all.
And an honorable hug to all the volunteers who made this happen! You are indeed the worlds top SilwerSteam Monkey Crew!!

SilwerSteam VI – Nordic Steampunk Faire 2024 Opens its doors – Friday from 17:00 (open for craftsmen from 11:00)

Break-in at the Museum – 18:30 The introduction to SilwerSteams text based mystery from last year… – Reception.

Dance Workshop – 19:00 – 19:45 Join in for a beginner’s workshop of historical dances with Camilla and the Theatrical Society Sigurd – Museum Courtyard, outside.

SilwerSteam Contests – The Tutorial – 20:00 – 22:00 Join us for the start of the Team Contest. We will go through the ropes of Timeline, Teapot racing, Last one standing, and Tea Duelleing as well as how you score points and enjoy the first matches. Start at – Reception
