Murder Mystery Tour in Fjällbacka

Spring is here and so are our visitors to lovely Fjällbacka. This couple came all the way from Croatia to see the murder sites from Camilla Läckberg’s books. And they loved it.
There were many photos taken, never mind that the weather was a bit chilly and grey. It added to the atmosphere.

Camilla Läckberg has released her 12th book about murders in Fjällbacka. It is called "Gråterskan " in Swedish. I wonder who gets killed in this book? or shall I say how many?

This super group of travellers from Switzerland, Norway and Italy came with me on a guided tour today in sunny Fjällbacka. They loved it! And so did I!

Found this book in a bookshop in Mosta, Malta and it is fascination reading. In nearly every village on the west coast of Sweden there will be a memorial or burial place for the lost souls of this battle. One was Commander Loftus Jones, buried in the village churchyard of Fiskebäckskil.
It is also very difficult to read about all the boats sunk, I can only image the horrors of that day and night, the 31st of May 1916.
The book is written by British survivors and tells of unbelievable bravery and courage. It also acknowledges the equal bravery and tactical skills of the German command and their crew.
To think that everybody was convinced after World War 1 there would not be any more wars.
