Midnatt is Swedish for midnight. It is the name for our astrotourism series that has two trips (and more to come). Dark Nights takes twelve people to Siwa Oasis in the week of the new moon, where the sky reaches Bortle 1. And on 2 August 2027 the longest total eclipse on land this century crosses Upper Egypt, six minutes and twenty-two seconds over Luxor, which we are organising a tour for on a sailboat on the centreline. Five days on the Nile, and yoga only when you want it.
This October we sail Luxor to Aswan aboard a traditional dahabiyya: the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut’s temple, Edfu and the quarries the cruise ships pass, Kom Ombo, Philae, and a Nubian village before farewell. Twenty travellers, one river, five days.

Things we do not offer in Egypt.
No camel rides at the pyramids. Since 2019, investigations have documented what the animals beneath those saddles endure: extreme heat without shade or water, beatings, and abandonment when they can no longer earn. Reforms have been promised, and we hope they become real. Until then, we will not sell a photograph that costs an animal this much.
No shopping stops. No commissions behind recommendations. No hospitality dressed up as performance.
Every refusal returns something better: time, trust, and encounters designed to extract from no one. That is the whole idea behind how we travel.
