I have been digging around on my hard drive. This pictures are from 2006 and taken during some early morning training sessions.

The routine is the same but the dogs have changed. Today we have relatives to some of this dogs. In one way I miss my old dogs but at the same time I’m so happy for the offspring I got from them. Sometimes they are so similar that I have the feeling that they’re back…

Little bit strange and it doesn’t fit to my picture of how things are working… I don’t think so much about this. I just enjoy the dogs and sometimes even calling them the wrong names… 🙄

Midnight sun… it’s just something that you have to experience. This bright nights when you don’t want to sleep.

People ask if we get tired during the dark winter. The fact is that it’s the summer that makes us tired. The constant stress that it’s always sunlight outside and it’s always enough light to get something done.

Hopefully we get some rainy days that will give us a reason to stay inside and relax!

Have you ever find the perfect place for camping. The sand beach for the canoe. Dry place for the tent and just calm and relaxed.

I know several of this small pieces of paradise. I look forward to come back tome some of them again. Maybe this summer.

King Johnny. He’s Stina’s partner in crime. The most important things in Johnny’s life is food and Stina. Yes… food comes definitely first… This guy has not a single part of any evil in his personality. It’s almost strange.

Johnny is a brother to Annie and they have reached the age of 9. We are so happy that they are still fit and healthy. Lots of activities, high quality dog food and a happy life is probably the key in combination with some luck with the genes.

The sun is just below the horizon for a short while. The midnight sun is more or less her. We still don’t have mosquitoes, just a few and slow ones.

This time of the year is a really good time for outdoor activities in the north!

The tent I’m using here is. Seek Outside Cimaron with a wood stove. It’s still chilly in the evenings and morning and then it’s cosy with a wood stove!

When this birds come to our campfire I don’t care if my clients are still hungry. I just grab some bread or butter or whatever we have and offer this to the birds.
This bird is a Siberian Jay or Lavskrika in Swedish. They are not shy. They sometimes come really close to get the food we offer them.

This picture is from the camp spot east of Laidaure during one of our hiking trips into Skierfe.

Packraft tours in the delta of Rapariver. Some hiking, carrying and some paddling. If it’s no wind, it’s so beautiful but then it’s better for the mosquitoes. If it’s windy the mosquitoes blow away, and we have to struggle with the paddling…

…or go to places like this before and after the mosquito season!!!

Sometimes it’s difficult to understand that this beautiful landscape is just 70km away from our home. It’s Sweden. Northern Sweden.
We are so happy for being able to live in this kind of paradise!

The cliff is Skierfe in Sarek National Park. The picture is some years old probably. I found it in the archives.
