Guided Julie Hallé today. She is the founder and Executive Director of Espaces Flavie, a non-profit organization based in Québec, Canada. Their mission is to develop affordable and supportive housing for women in vulnerable situations, and another project is housing for couples where one partner suffers from alzheimers.
She was here to learn more about the Western Harbor: its history, how it was designed and developed, the reasons behind the planning decisions, and the benefits of this development model.

Some students from Austria visited the Western Harbor on a day when it was 35 degrees in Malmö. We talked about “urban heat islands” and the “15 minute city”.
