We’re excited to start taking reservations for our 2027 Kangaroo Hoppet and Merino Muster trips, celebrating the first Worldloppet events of the season, kicking off this month in Australia and New Zealand.

One of the world’s most iconic ski marathons is getting a little lighter. 🇳🇴🎒

Beginning in 2027, the Birkebeinerrennet in Norway—better known as the Birken—will require participants to carry a 2 kg (4.4 lb) backpack instead of the previous 3.5 kg (7.7 lb) weight.

While the historic challenge remains the same, this change will make the legendary 53 km journey from Rena to Lillehammer more accessible for many skiers. ✨

Félicitations on France's national holiday and looking back on the bountiful memories in the beautiful Jura region on past Lumi France Transju’ trips!

From skiing snowy Jura trails and racing the iconic Transjurassienne Worldloppet, to trying biathlon and enjoying local specialties like Sapin (the region's unique fir bud liqueur) and Jura wines, every trip is a chance to experience the best of this incredible region. 🍷

All eyes are on France this July as France's soccer team moves to the World Cup semi-final (last country in the tournament where Lumi runs trips) and the cyclists cruise the scenic roads in the Tour de France 💫

As excitement builds for the 2027 Falun Nordic World Championships in Sweden, we wanted to take some time to look back at Lumi's past World Championship trips and share a few of our favorite memories from these incredible events.

First up: Seefeld 2019. Lumi's first World Championship trip combined world-class racing with the magic of the Austrian Alps. From cheering on the world's best skiers and meeting athletes, to skiing the trails of Leutasch, enjoying traditional Tyrolean sledding, , Seefeld remains one of our most popular (and favorite) destinations, whether they're hosting races or we're simply enjoying the sight-skiing. 🇦🇹🏔️✨
