This weekend marks the final Worldloppet event of the season: Iceland’s Fossavatn, set in the Westfjords in the far northwest of the island, just shy of the Arctic Circle at 66° north.

Norwegian Lumi Viking spotted at this year’s 2026 Birken 🇳🇴

Other sightings included many smiling faces along the 55 km of beautiful, snowy tracks, with even more relieved smiles at the finish in Lillehammer after facing wind and precipitation while skiing across Norway’s high alpine forests. The trip wrapped up with sunny skies and tasty Norwegian waffles 🧇, celebrating the day after the Worldloppet event and the end of another great Lumi trip ✨

Two weekends ago marked the final World Cup races of the season, with thousands of fans – including many Lumi skiers – traveling to the North Woods of New York to cheer on the world’s best.
