First targeted perch trip of the year is in the books! 🎣

Today I had the pleasure of guiding David and his son. The fishing was tough at times, but persistence paid off and we managed to land some beautiful perch, with the biggest stretching to an impressive 45 cm!

The key baits today were the Daiwa Bladed Jig and Spin Jig, fished during the classic “herring hour” when the perch suddenly switched on and started feeding.

Slim Shad Y does it again.

A solid super-sized zander couldn’t resist the Slim Shad Y in the magic color, White Ghost. Paired with the new Prorex S spinning rod (5–25g, 7’1”) and the Ninja 2500 reel, this setup was really put to the test. The rod’s sensitivity and the reel’s smooth break made every surge from the fish feel intense, sending chills down my spine.

When everything comes together like this – the gear, the conditions, and the right lure, you know you’re doing something right. And once again, Slim Shad Y 10,5cm proves why it’s a go-to choice when targeting big zander.

Zander season isn’t over but I doubt I’ll get another chance to jig fish a 10+kg Zander again, or atleast not this year! Big thanks to for letting me be his co-guide this day!

Yesterday we took home the win at Gålö Öring Cup as with and .ryde

After a day full of focus, patience, and some sticking to the plan, everything finally came together.

Our top lure of the day was the in a seriously poisonous color.

Huge thanks to the organizers for a fantastic event and to all the competitors for the great vibes and tough competition. This is one we won’t forget anytime soon. Already looking forward to this autumn where we will defend our title! 🙌

Now that the days are growing colder, it’s easy to drift away in memories of summer—back to our trip to Lapland. The fishing was tough at times, the pike cautious and unpredictable, but surrounded by that breathtaking northern wilderness and with good friends close at hand, it hardly mattered.

We spent long days on clear, quiet waters under the endless glow of the midnight sun, sharing stories, laughter, and the kind of calm you only find far above the Arctic Circle. And even though the fishing challenged us, we still managed to land a few true giants—each one an adrenaline-filled moment we won’t forget.

Difficult fishing, stunning nature, and great company made the trip something truly special. A place to dream back to now, as the cold settles in.
