Autumn arrived in Swedish Lapland 🍁🍂

We were incredibly happy to welcome Johan Broman, one of Sweden’s best-known fishing personalities and the host of the TV series "Fiskedestination", to Paws of Björnlund during his latest filming trip in Malå and Norsjö. 🎣🐾

Fiskedestination is a Swedish outdoor and fishing series that explores some of Sweden’s most interesting fishing destinations – the waters, the nature, the people and the stories behind the places. This time, Johan came to discover what makes our part of Swedish Lapland special.
For us, it was a wonderful opportunity to share a little bit of what life here is really about.

At Paws of Björnlund, our life revolves around our huskies and the nature that surrounds us. We train and race with our dogs, but we also love sharing this landscape with visitors through different activities.
During their visit, we talked about our life here, showed them our guesthouse and introduced them to husky trekking as one of the many ways to experience the wilderness around us.

And of course, no visit to us would be complete without food. We served our own homemade moose burgers, created by us and made with a true taste of northern Sweden. 🫎🔥

What we love about this region is that you don't have to choose between adventure, nature, fishing and relaxation. You can spend the day fishing in the clear northern waters, explore the forests and mountains, go trekking with huskies, and finish the day with good food and the people you came with. You might come to Lapland for the fishing but you stay for the whole experience.
We are proud to be part of the local community of businesses and people welcoming visitors to Malå and Norsjö and even more proud to share a place that we are lucky enough to call home. 🌲

🇩🇪 Manchmal kommt dieser Gedanke wie „Ich möchte einfach weg. Eine kleine Hütte irgendwo im Wald. Keine Menschen und nur Ruhe.“

Fühlst du dich überfordert von deiner Umgebung mit zu vielen Reizen, zu vielen Anforderungen sowie zu wenig Raum für dich selbst? Denn dann ziehst du dich zurück, verschanzt dich Zuhause und versuchst irgendwie durch den Alltag zu kommen.
Aber tief in dir weißt du: So kann es nicht für immer bleiben.
Du spürst, dass sich etwas verändern muss, aber du weißt nicht genau was und vor allem nicht, wo du anfangen sollst.

Ich bin diesen Weg selbst gegangen. Ich kenne das Gefühl, festzustecken, sich neu orientieren zu müssen und wieder herauszufinden, was wirklich wichtig ist.

Gemeinsam schauen wir es uns nicht nur an, sondern wir gehen direkt in die Natur und arbeiten mit echten Entscheidungen und deinen eigenen Mustern, die dich noch davor abhalten. // Anna
