If you know anything about me, you know I love to travel!
It all started when I left the United States for the first time at five years old and was quickly dubbed "Travel Lady" thereafter by our family friends. Since then, Iâve always loved learning about peopleâs stories, culture, values, and the way they live. I pursued degrees in Global and Intercultural Studies, worked in international development, and saved *allllll* my money for trips because I just couldnât get enough.Â
And why not?
Travel is fun! And eye-opening! And humbling! And a privilege. And a mechanism that can make or break communities, depending on how itâs done.Â
Travel is something I think you should (and can!) do more of - and now, travel is something Iâm leaning into as a professional career.Â
Enter No Mean Adventures Travel Advising!
Over the last few years, Iâve given countless friends and family members advice and helped them plan their trips and vacations. Iâve blogged and posted here on social media about our adventures, lessons learned, and the good and bad of experiences while traveling. Iâve always been energized by this work and the opportunity to introduce people to new experiences and cultures. And at this crossroads in my career, I thought, âWhy not just put yourself out there and see who else might be interested in this kind of travel consulting service?â
So⊠If you want to travel more - more sustainably, more thoughtfully, more joyfully - Iâd love to help!
