SUMMIT OF MOUNT EVEREST

At 12:27 on May 20, Peter Gullmert, Chhiring Dorje Sherpa, and Pema Chhepal Sherpa reached the summit of Mount Everest.

Our guide, Chhiring Dorje Sherpa, reached the summit of Everest for the 18th time, an extraordinary legacy on the world’s highest mountain.

Big progress on the mountain 🙌

Peter and Chhiring left Base Camp and pushed مباشرة to Camp 2 in a single day. The following day, they continued their ascent, reaching Camp 3 on the Lhotse Face before safely returning to Base Camp, where they are now recovering.

Strong effort, smooth rotation, and most importantly — everyone is doing well 💪

Everest Expedition South 2026:
Chhiring and Peter have now completed preliminary preparation - they have climbed Lobuche Peak and and then more climbing preparation around Everest Base Camp today. Tomorrow they start first rotation to climb one to C1 and C two.

Yesterday we stood on the summit of Lobuche Peak 🏔️
Today we made our way down from high camp to a lodge in Gorak Shep, where we’ll rest for the night.

One step closer… tomorrow we head to Everest Base Camp ✨

This morning at 08:45, Peter and Chhiring successfully reached the summit of Lobuche Peak. They are currently resting at High Camp before beginning their descent to lower altitude.
