2022 has been a special year in which we have been very happy to be able to actively witness a lot of interesting developments in the airships industry.

A great applaud to our friends in the industry for their many achievements: LTA, Flying Whales, Zeppelin, Atlas, Hybrid Air Vehicles, Lockheed Martin.

Special thanks to our dear Pioneers, Adventurers, partners, collaborators and friends and to the whole community of passionate people behind this important process of changing the way we travel in the future.

Thanks to Forbes and Rachel Ingram for a new article about OceanSky Cruises and our North Pole Expedition.

In 1926, Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen flew over the North Pole in an airship named Norge. Almost one century later, budding explorers will soon be able to re-enact this incredible feat with an airship adventure of their own. Find out how.

The airship may be the only means of transport that can mitigate the negative consequences of climate change on northern transportation. Cargo airships have the potential to be a cheaper and more sustainable alternative.

They could deliver large loads frequently throughout the entire year, as well as provide less expensive passenger transportation for community residents.

A new generation of cargo airships would have a revolutionary impact on northern transportation and logistics costs.

A few weeks ago, our CEO Carl-Oscar Lawaczeck and Head of Marketing Gonzalo Gimeno attended the annual African Revival – Investing in Education fundraising ball in London.

OceanSky Cruises has previously donated an Airship Experience to the charity, which raised 40.000 GBP at auction, to improve the quality of education for children in Uganda, Zambia & South Sudan.

Congratulations to the charity’s Founder and Chairman, Tony Allen, and the African Revival team for their amazing and truly generous work.

The demand for our first North Pole Expedition season has exceeded our best estimations. Given the low Adventurer cabin inventory for the departure months of May through October, we are expecting to enter into a waiting list mode at the beginning of next year.
The current Adventurer cabin price of SEK 2,000,000 for 2 persons is valid until the 31st of December 2022.
