Lillejulafton och Somalia’s banbrytande Goaltracker har just lanserats i Mogadishu av den somaliska regeringen. Verktyget gör det möjligt att tracka alla finansiella flöden till Somalia kopplat till de globala hållbarhetsmålen. Jag hade hoppats att kunna ta mig till Mogadishu för lanseringen idag men blev svårt få till all säkerhetsordning, så nu fick det bli per zoomlänk från Lamu istället. Gick bra trots powecuts!

Today Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos in the presence of Miroslav Lajčák, President of the United Nations General Assembly launched our groundbreaking portal to track progress on the Global Goals and Agenda 2030 in Colombia.

Targets have been set for 150 indicators across all Global Goals specifying what Colombia wants to achieve by 2030.

The portal will help citizens monitor progress and serve s a platform for all actors who wish to engage in achieving the goals and targets!

The portal funded by Sida - Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete has been developed by Data Act Lab in close collaboration with Departamento Nacional de Planeación - DNP and Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística DANE. GREAT THANKS to the excellent team! It has been hard work but truly rewarding!

Så ska de Globala målen nås!

SVT Forum sänder ifrån konferensen på Filantropiskt Forum: Agenda 2030 "Så ska de Globala målen nås" som hölls i förra veckan.

Jag pratar ca 55 min in i programmet tillsammans med tidigare vice generalsekreterare i FN Jan Eliasson, kabinettsekreterare Annika Söder, och gd för Formas, Ingrid Pettersson samt många fler om vad olika aktörer kan göra för att bidra till att FNs mål om hållbar utveckling ska nås.

An exciting week coming to an end! Starting off with the Swedish Government's presentation of its work on Agenda 2030, followed by the Swedish Government'presentation of its work on Financing For Development. I finally presented Data Act Lab s initiative to build a digital tool to track both Agendas at country level! Tracking data on the SDGs along side financial data, starting off with Colombia. Presentation Ministry for Foreign Affairs, together with Colombia's Ambassador to Sweden!
