42 km is 42 km... right?

Today, thousands of people are running 42 km through Stockholm, we started wondering how different the same distance can look.

One route comes with crowds, energy gels, cheering spectators, water stations, and a finish line.

The other comes with islands, campfires, swimming spots, sheep, outdoor cooking, and a night under the stars.

Both are adventures. We just know which one we'd choose for a weekend.

Midsummer is almost here.

The days are at their longest, the sunsets barely disappear, and all of Sweden heads outside to celebrate. Flowers, food, friends, nature — this is one of the most special times of the year to experience the Swedish summer.

And honestly, the archipelago is the perfect place for it.

It started as a goodbye barbecue for Maeli.

Good food, great people, sunset, and one of those evenings where nobody really wants to go home yet. Then someone looked at the big canoe and said: “What if we go look for beavers?”

So we did.

A full team canoe, calm mirror water, laughing the whole way, beavers swimming around us, and one of those perfect archipelago evenings you wish could last a little longer.
