Another one from last season at Las Buitreras, a small pool that usually holds a lot of fish. This seatrout took again right below the surface - floating line and a small rubber-legged nymph on the single-handed rod.

A couple of sea trout from Las Buitreras this past season for your Sunday. We could watch them for hours — simply beautiful creatures. This was back in January on a calm, sunny day with low water. A good reminder that even in tough conditions, the fish are always there.

Big Triggerfish on a remote tiny atoll outside of PNG. It’s hard to describe how unique situations like this are when exploring in the middle of nowhere. We stepped onto this atoll at exactly the right moment — dropping tide and Triggerfish everywhere. Shaky hands after just losing a fly, trying to tie on a new one while watching these fish happily swimming all around us. We’ll never forget this morning.
