A Dream Come True in Kenya, Africa
To set foot in Kenya, a land so alive with nature’s wonders, is nothing short of a dream realised. The vast savannah stretches endlessly, home to an array of wild creatures that make this place a living masterpiece.
There is the haunting laugh of the hyena and the stealth of the elusive cheetah—the fastest creature on Earth—prowling the plains. Herds of migrating buffaloes move majestically, and in an unforgettable moment, a female buffalo prepared to give birth, two tiny hooves peeking out as life began on the hoof. Lions, lionesses, and their playful cubs dot the landscape, their cries echoing in the open expanse.
Hippopotamuses wallow lazily, while elegant Thomson gazelles leap gracefully through the grasslands. Secretary birds strut confidently, and jackals move with quiet cunning. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is, without a doubt, the 8th wonder of the world—a place where nature’s raw beauty takes center stage.
One of the most magical experiences was floating above it all at sunrise in a hot air balloon. The sky painted itself with hues of gold and crimson, and a perfect rainbow arched across the heavens. Surely, somewhere at the end of that rainbow, there must be a pot of gold!
What can I say but how beautiful this world is. To witness elephants in all their glory, with their full tusks intact, moving with a majesty that takes your breath away, is to truly understand the grandeur of creation.
Kenya, thank you for sharing a piece of God’s extraordinary and innocent creation with me. It is a gift I will carry forever in my heart.
