No retreat. No flight. Just grass, trees, and 20 minutes to come back to yourself.

In the middle of the C*D, we practiced what the research already tells us:
Time in nature lowers cortisol. Improves mood. Regulates the nervous system.

Free mental health clinic that’s all around us.😃

We laid down. We breathed. We remembered:
please love yourself
you’re a masterpiece
embrace your flaws and your grace

Thank you for joining me 🥰

Feature in The Straits Times today: Sentosa is being reimagined for rest, not just rides.

As a forest therapy guide, this made me smile.

People aren’t just asking for more attractions. They’re asking for “more trees, more nature, more beaches” — places to breathe.

My take in the article:
“The forest is a free mental health ‘clinic’ and it’s all around us.”
“There’s just a sense of calm when you’re in nature.”

You don’t need a flight to reset. Sometimes 20 mins under trees or by the beach is enough.

The new Greater Sentosa Master Plan gets this. More green spaces. More trails. More room to slow down.

Thank you to SDC and the ST team for highlighting this shift.

Nature isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity 💚

Did you know Fort Canning was Singapore’s first experimental and botanical garden — and a spice plantation? 🌿

Today we peeped into the open fresh nutmeg, found clove flowers still on the tree, and walked the same paths where 19th-century traders smelled their fortune.

From the red mace around nutmeg seeds to the firework-pink blooms on the forest floor, the spices told their own stories.

Ended it all lying under ancient trees, sharing tea like the communities who lived here before us.

History tastes better when you can touch it.

Throwback on Group forest bathing sessions, Pesta Ubin.

Slowed down with the trees at Pulau Ubin🌳

No rush, no notifications. Just green, quiet, and the sound of leaves.

Forest bathing reminded us that healing doesn’t have to be loud.

Thank you to everyone who breathed with us 💚

Self-care isn't always silence. Sometimes it's the sound of wind in ylang-ylang, the smell of crushed nutmeg, and the weight if a warm tea in your hands.

Thank you for joining me at Fort Canning Garden today. 🌿
