Ever wondered what itโs like to follow a plan so perfectly, that you forgot to ask if it was even yours?
Growing up, Ivy did exactly that. Good grades, chemical engineering degree, project manager at a corporate company - every box ticked, and expectations met.
But somewhere along the way, her values stopped aligning and she no longer felt driven by the work itself. The constant chase of deadlines and KPIs eventually drained her.
What kept her going were the handcrafted hobbies sheโd always had, but none lasted for too long. Until she came across paper flowers, which she initially thought she wouldnโt have the patience for.
But she was hooked. She spent months teaching herself the craft, said no to social gatherings, and slowly build something she believed in. At one point, she was balancing her full time job, paying for rent for her studio, and teaching people how to fold paper flowers!
Eventually, she took the leap of faith and quit her job in February this year.
Today, at 30, she runs Singaporeโs only paper flower studio. On a plan that is completely her own.
Ivy is one of the most inspiring partners weโve had the privilege of working with - someone who had the courage to walk away from the blueprint and bet on herself and in a place like Singapore that never seems to slow down, her studio is a rare kind of refuge.
By joining her experience, you donโt just get to meet Ivy, but you get to step away from the noise for a couple of hours, make something beautiful with your own hands, and take home a bloom that lasts a lifetime - Link in bio!
