AAM is a programme designed primarily to help Madrasah Aljunied students prepare for their E & A Maths and English ‘O’ Levels examinations, in addition to its secondary objective of character- and confidence-building for the students. Ratio of mentor to mentee is 1 : 3-4. The program provides a platform for volunteers to contribute to th

e society by helping the madrasah students in their ‘O’ Levels exams and aim to value add to the experience. The sessions are on Saturdays, 9am-2pm. Maths session will be from 9am to 11am and English will be from 11.30am to 1pm. Check us out @ http://aaminfo.wordpress.com/

Salam everyone🤍

With this year coming to an end, we would like to officially conclude AAM(Achieve and Aspire through Mentorship). Alhamdulillah, all praises be to Allah swt, AAM has been ongoing for 14 fulfilling years since 2009 and we have had the privilege to meet and work with compassionate and amazing mentors and mentees. Through these years, we’ve had countless of enjoyable memories that will continue to live in our hearts, and we hope for the best for all those that we have crossed paths with, whether old or new, whether for a few sessions or even a few years.

May Allah swt bless and reward all the efforts that you have put in to make AAM a success and insyaaAllah may we meet again someday🤍

Each group was tasked to brainstorm their respective kampung names to identify with and we all had a friendly competition through various Raya themed activities. It was genuinely nice seeing and spending time with everyone. ⠀

Also, since we're still in this joyous month of Syawal, we hope eid is not too late to wish you Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir Dan Batin.⠀

Camp Inc is an annual camp for Madrasah Aljunied students. By organizing this camp, we hope that it will strengthen the bond between mentees and mentors, develop team-building as well as problem-solving skills in our mentees.

CampINC 2014 Fundraising

On the 2nd of March, the CampINC team opened a flea market stall, all thanks to Madam Rozanah and family (check out Pondok Chantique). We worked in partnership with them and helped each other out throughout the event which started at 9am and ended at 8pm. It was no easy feat. But of course, nothing is impossible especially with team work. Supporting us throughout the event were friends, families, AAM mentees and mentors, new and returning customers and even little kids whose smiles made the occasion just a little bit more special. Preparations prior to the event were crucial and we were lucky to also have generous donors (check out Delle Das' Designs) who were willing to part with their artistic creations like handmade brooches, rings, pins accessories and lots more. Not forgetting our very capable team of salesgirls who helped us at our booth and at times, became models too. Thank you Nur Diyanah Anwar, Syafiqah Zainal, Aisyah Lim, Athirah Azlan and Siti Nawal. We'd also like to thank everyone who were part of this event. Also, stay tuned for more fundraising initiatives from us, for CAMPINC 2014!

You can choose to mentor the Madrasah Aljunied students in E-Math and/or English. Generally, the ratio of mentor to mentee is 1 : 4. The program provides a platform for volunteers to contribute to the society by helping the madrasah students prepare for ‘O’ Levels exams and aim to value add to their experience. The sessions are on Saturdays, 9 am - 1.30 pm, with a lunch break in between. Math sessions will be from 9 am to 11 am and English will be from 12 pm to 1.30 pm. Join us!
