The team at Texture is proud to be the creative digital agency behind the new Singapore Memory Project media wall and SMP Interactive at Jurong Regional Library. Minister of State, Ms. Sim Ann and Minister of Parliament, Mr Baey Yam Keng, helped to launch this inaugural physical showcase of Singapore's most cherished memories.
Thanks to the great team at NLB for making this possible and Special Thanks to my awesome team at Texture Media for building this wonderful creation!

MOS Sim Ann attended the opening of SingaporeMemoryProject@JurongRegional Library (SMP@JRL) on 20 March 2014. Since 2011, the Singapore Memory Project (SMP) has collected over 1 million memories. SMP@JRL is the first dedicated hub located in public libraries to showcase the memories collected through the project. SMP@JRL is open to all, and visitors can browse SMP publications, videos, collaterals and multiple interactive features.

After lots of hard work, my team at Texture Media has recently helped launch an exhibition at the National Library of Singapore called "Hands: Gift of a Generation". It is part of a nationwide government initiative called the Singapore Memory Project that aims to capture the memories and history of Singapore.

The Exhibition is one of the first of its kind in the world to use Microsoft Pixelsense Interactive tables combined with a 360 degree display of High Definition projector walls (about 10 ft high and 100 ft all around!) to showcase the memories and stories of the growth of this nation. It would be one of the largest installations of MS Pixelsense Interactive tables in Asia and highlights an innovative way to "capture" media content from the Pixelsense tables on a special collector's card - for visitors to share online with family and friends.

During the opening ceremonies, Singapore Minister of State, Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim was there to experience it first hand!

The Hands Exhibition is open from 7th Aug until 15th Oct 2013 - so do drop down to National Library for a visit if you can to see some of our digital media work in action!
