Talk about perfect timing 😮 We visited Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie and unexpectedly caught the 12th Wingsuit Flying World Championship live. Chinese athlete Zhang Shupeng also made history by winning the precision target event.

这次来张家界天门山真的太巧了，竟然现场遇上第十二届翼装飞行世界锦标赛！更惊喜的是，中国选手张树鹏还拿下精准穿靶项目冠军，成为首位夺得该项目世锦赛冠军的中国选手。

Year-end airfares are usually extremely expensive, but here are some destinations with newly launched flights that might be worth considering. They could be great alternatives for your year-end holiday:

Shantou / Chaozhou – Fly to Jieyang with Scoot

Guizhou – Fly to Guiyang with Scoot

Shenzhen – Fly with Singapore Airlines (SQ)

Sichuan – Fly to Chengdu with Singapore Airlines (SQ)

Chongqing – Fly with Singapore Airlines (SQ)

Fujian / Xiamen – Fly with Singapore Airlines (SQ)

Hainan Island – Fly to Sanya with S**T Airlines

These newly launched routes may offer more competitive fares compared to the usual popular destinations during the year-end peak season.

I know many of you want to visit Guangzhou, but flights with SQ or China Southern are nearly **$1,000–$1,200** during the year-end period.

So, think outside the box! 😄

Instead, fly to Shenzhen for $400+, then take the train from Shenzhen to Guangzhou — it’s only a little over 1 hour.

The flight timings may not be perfect, but the airfare is significantly cheaper. And hey, you get to explore one more city along the way. Why not?
