Our "Harmony in Diversity Gallery: Harmony Begins with Understanding" LEARN Site-Specific Training returns next month on Monday, 19 October. Join licensed Tourist Guide and ACTA-certified adult trainer May Hui onsite to find out how the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) works with community partners to set up the Harmony in Diversity Gallery, how the Gallery showcases Singapore’s religious diversity and fosters respect and appreciation for the beliefs and practices of the different faiths, and the role of the Inter-Religious Organisation (IRO) in Singapore.

Course fees for STGS/AREU members are $20 (without Statement of Attendance) and $30 (with Statement of Attendance). For non-members and members of the public, course fees are $30 (without Statement of Attendance), and $40 (with Statement of Attendance). Non-Tourist Guides welcome!

On Saturday, 17 October, join international cultural tourism expert Jack Zhao as he discusses the six core architectural styles of Singapore's conservation shophouses, the socio-historical value of shophouses as microcosms of Nanyang society, as well as how to independently design and execute 45-minute refined micro-guiding routes for the three core conservation districts of Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam.
