White Manta Diving (est. 1989) is a Singapore-based liveaboard company that started running trips to West Malaysian dive sites on the humble MV Vincent. Since then, White Manta Diving has thrived and developed into one of the region's best liveaboard companies. Since expanding our operation beyond Singapore we have introduced our guests to many world-class diving destinations within South-East Asi

a such as the Indonesian Archipelago, Thailand Andaman Sea, East and West Malaysia and beyond. Our fleet now consists of two vessels, our Flagship Luxury vessel KM Blue Manta & her well loved sister ship New White Manta. Both boats are now based permanently in Indonesia offering world class diving in destinations such as Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda Sea & Sangalaki. As White Manta Diving was designed and built by divers for divers, we understand the need for a fuss-free diving experience. All of our crew, across both vessels, understand divers needs & expectations; you can expect a five star service whenever you dive with us both above & below the waves

Triton Bay, a mesmerizing marine sanctuary within the Bird’s Head Seascape of West Papua, Indonesia, offers an unparalleled playground for all nature-lovers.

Thanks to its unique mix of oceanic currents, the waters of Triton Bay are rich in nutrients. While these can sometimes impact visibility, they also support a flourishing and vibrant ecosystem.

Huge schools of fish, dolphins, whale sharks, and incredible macro life make this destination a paradise for divers. Endemic species, including the Nursalim Flasher Wrasse, can also be found here, adding to the bay’s exceptional biodiversity and making every dive a unique experience.

The banded sea krait is one of the most venomous snakes found in Indonesian waters. Despite this, they are generally shy and spend much of their time hunting eels and small fish among the reefs.

Encounters like this highlight the delicate equilibrium of the underwater world. Every creature has a role to play, and witnessing these animals offers a glimpse into the raw, unfiltered beauty of the Banda Sea’s waters: fierce yet fragile, a mystery to be celebrated.

Far out in the Banda Sea, between volcanic islands and some of Indonesia’s most remote waters, lies one of the most special dive regions we know.

This is a place of deep blue drop-offs, giant sea fans, barrel sponges, and encounters that can change from one dive to the next. Schools of jackfish, eagle rays, sea snakes… and if luck is on your side, schooling scalloped hammerheads. That unpredictability is part of what makes Banda so exciting.

But the Banda Sea is more than just the diving. The islands, once at the center of the global spice trade, are steeped in history. Walk through Fort Belgica, taste fresh nutmeg straight from the trees, and experience a side of Indonesia that feels untouched by time.

If you are looking for adventure both above and below the surface, the Banda Sea is remarkable.

Put the words fatal and ocean together, and most people think of sharks, crocodiles, or even the sea itself.

But what if we asked you to look at something much smaller, like the Blue-ringed octopus?

At only around 10 cm long, this tiny creature won’t be biting through speedboats anytime soon. Yet it remains one of the ocean’s most distinctive and venomous inhabitants, found right here in Indonesia.

A master of camouflage, blue-ringed octopus are a rare find for even for the most seasoned divers. Join us on our upcoming trips to see if you can spot one!

Alor is one of our favorite stops of the year.

It may be remote, wild, and still largely unexplored, but we know exactly where to take you.

Alor keeps giving us new reasons to come back: from vibrant reefs to beautiful wall dives, world-class muck to big fish encounters… we’ve learnt to expect the unexpected!

Above water, traditional villages and bamboo fishing traps line the volcanic coastline, reflecting a way of life still closely tied to the sea. It’s a journey you won’t forget.
