Hair for Hope

Hair for Hope Hair for Hope is Children's Cancer Foundation's annual iconic fundraiser.

Organised by Children's Cancer Foundation, Hair for Hope is the only head-shaving event in Singapore that serves to raise funds and awareness of childhood cancer. Every shaven head represents an understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to. HfH also provides an opportunity to garner support from the public in the form of monetary pledging. By volunteering

to shave, the shavees become CCF’s ambassadors in spreading childhood cancer messages to their family, friends and colleagues when garnering monetary support from them. Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) is a social service agency with a mission of improving the quality of lives of children with cancer and their families and children impacted by cancer through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being. Founded in 1992, CCF provides children with cancer and their families the much needed support in their battle against the life threatening illness. Over the years, CCF has helped more than 4000 children and their families at different stages of the illness and recovery. Mission & Vision:

To improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families and children impacted by cancer through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being. General Information:

Behind every child’s cancer journey is someone quietly carrying the weight of love, decisions, and unwavering care.

This Cancer Survivors Month, we celebrate the strength and courage of survivors. Let’s honour the collective support from the community around them. This is why we shave—for solidarity, empowerment, and to remind every child and caregiver that they are not alone.

Meet Jordan Tan, age 11.

At a tender age of 9, when most children are learning to ride bikes or draw cartoon characters, Jordan was battling with cancerous brain tumours. When he lost his hair during treatment, he took control — shaving it all off with courage.

Now an ambassador for Hair for Hope, Jordan is on a mission to remind children and families impacted with childhood cancer that they are not alone. 💛

Let’s stand with Jordan and show our support: https://hairforhope.org.sg/page/donate

💛 15 years. Standing for a cause of hope for his loved ones.

For Sahrin, Hair for Hope isn’t just an event — it’s a heartfelt commitment. Now in his 15th year as a shavee, he continues to show his support for children with cancer and his loved ones who are cancer survivors.

Among them is his nephew Muhd Afiq, who shares his passion and hopes to join him in this meaningful cause once he regains his strength.

Their shared dedication is a powerful reminder of how love, hope, and action can carry us through.

At 61, Amy Low continues to inspire us all with her unwavering commitment and support for children with cancer. For the 13th consecutive year, Amy—an optician from Marine Parade—shaved her head at Hair for Hope’s official launch, standing in solidarity with young children who experience hair loss during cancer treatment.

Thank you to Mothership for highlighting Amy’s powerful story and her incredible compassion. Her dedication reminds us that small acts, done with great love, can leave a lasting impact.
