There's a hill in China so iconic, it's literally on the money.
Jiumahua Shan — "Nine Horse Painting Hill" — is the exact scene on China's 20 Yuan note, and we're hiking straight to it. A 2 to 4-hour trail (doable for most hikers with average fitness) winds through quiet paths and rolling hills toward Xingping, delivering some of the most scenic hiking in all of China.

Then it gets better: hop on a bamboo raft and ride the Li River itself, before continuing a riverside hike for another 5km into Xingping's most beautiful stretch of scenery.
