Brushing of Spring Couplets & CNY “Horse” Drawing Contest 🧧🐎

On Chu 2 (18/02/26), we continued our Lunar New Year celebrations at Tuas South Dormitory with a Spring Couplets Brushing session. The festive spirit was still strong as residents gathered to brush auspicious phrases, ushering in prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead.

We also presented the cash prizes to the winners of our CNY “Horse” Drawing Contest 🎉 A big congratulations once again to our talented resident artists, check out their stunning art pieces in the photos! Well done! 👏

Chinese New Year Celebration at Tuas South Dormitory 🧧🐎

We welcome the Year of the Horse with a lively lion dance, delicious snacks, creative body painting and memorable moments at our mini photobooth!

On 4 February, we were glad to be part of a collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Sian Chay Medical Institution to distribute water bottles to our residents, with Sian Chay personnel present on the day.

We hope this initiative helps to promote healthy hydration habits among our residents, especially in Singapore’s hot weather.

Our dormitory foyer will be filled with festive activities for our residents!

🥁 17 Feb 2026 kicks off the Lunar New Year with an energetic Lion Dance to welcome good luck and prosperity, along with a snack station (Kacang Puteh & traditional biscuits) and face painting. Don’t forget to take photos with your buddies after the activities!

✍️ 18 Feb 2026, residents can brush their own Spring Couplets and write auspicious blessings for a year filled with luck and happiness.
