Did you know that your guides have their own favorite places in Singapore?

Gene’s favorite place in Singapore is the Singapore Botanic Gardens and National Orchid Garden.

He loves it because it is his place of healing, peace, and rejuvenation — a space where trees, plants, and flowers take center stage and gently encourage visitors to slow down and simply be present. Even the birds, insects, and other creatures seem to find rest, shelter, and nourishment within the beautiful gardens.

Gene also enjoys admiring the many sculptures found throughout the park. One of his favorites is Chang Kuda (Piggyback) by Chong Fah Cheong. He finds the way the artist captures everyday moments truly remarkable, reminding him of his carefree youth and simpler times.

Exploring Singapore is more than just visiting famous landmarks — it’s also about understanding how the city blends history, green spaces, and modern development all in one place

This lovely family enjoyed learning about Singapore’s transformation from a small trading port into one of Asia’s most modern cities. Along the way, they discovered how public spaces, heritage districts, and urban planning all play an important role in shaping everyday life in Singapore.

From cultural stories to scenic city views, Singapore offers visitors a chance to experience history, architecture, and local life while creating unforgettable memories together ❤️

The best gift left for us guides, is the smiles on your faces at the end of the tour.

The hardest part of the job, at times, is saying goodbye to guests whom we are not sure if we would meet again.

Please take our good wishes with you and leave some sweet memories for us. 😘

Did you know that your guides have their own favorite places in Singapore?

Gee Soo's favourite spot in SG is Bukit Brown Cemetery.

He loves it because it is one of the last few places in Singapore that is away from the hassle & bustle of the crowded city. This is likely the largest historic Chinese cemetery outside China; it is a nature escape & every tombstone has a story to tell.
