I like to travel and have been a great many places at this stage. However when I tried to find an easily accessible, clearly laid out list of things to see and do, it was difficult - most of them were only trying to sell something or were travel agents of one kind or another. So I set up this page and its companion site www.100wondersoftheworld.com. Why not check it out and see what there is to see?

On 22 January 2013 we visited the fantastic Durbar Square in Kathmandu, one of the great wonders of the world. Sadly, on 25 April 2015, this wonderful place was utterly destroyed in an earthquake. Worse, at the time of writing, over 5000 of the people of Nepal are confirmed dead, with many more injured. Please do what you can to assist - there are many charities which would benefit from a donation as they try to help with this disaster.

Recently added, Gardens by the Bay, Sinagpore. One of the surprise wonders of Asia, this huge garden and display area made quite an impression on us when we visited during a massive thunderstorm in January 2013.
