Fans of the Chinese cuisine are definitely not strangers to this mouth-watering dish!
That's right! This is actually the famous, one-and-only XIAO LONG BAO, or sometimes referred to as 'soup dumplings' in English.

Xiao Long Bao is a typed of steamed bun served in small bamboo basket. It tend to have smooth, tender and somewhat translucent skin. The fillings may include meat, seafood or even vegetables. What makes the Xiao Long Bao so desirable is the 'soup' in the dumpling, which is actually made from melted gelatin-gelled aspic.

Xiao Long Bao can be served as a form of dim sum or even as a main meal!

One of the restaurants who is internationally famous for Xiao Long Bao is none-other than Din Tai Fung.
They have establishments in most parts of Asia, especially Singapore, Taiwan and China.

If you come across this pleasant dish in the future, do try it out!
