Thresher shark best show

Yesterday the sharks were very curious and
made flybys and close interactions with all the divers, showing confidence in people.
Looks like all the dive shops in Malapascua and the local marine life protection organizations, are doing great job protecting these magnificent animals.
We had a great time with the sharks and now it's time to head to our next dive destination.

Happy Ocean Day 2024 ! 🐳🐋🦈

On this ocean day I just hope that the future of Sharks will be brighter and positive as the future of whales. We almost forgot that in the last century the Whales were on the verge of extinction. That was until 1986 when the killing of whales stopped almost all over the world. It happened only when the commercial value of a killed whale was dropped significantly and when nations accepted that the value of a living whale is greater than of a dead one.
Let’s hope and be active to make the change for Sharks as well. Educating everybody that the value of a living Shark is greater than a dead one. No matter where on the globe and no matter which Shark species it is.
Here at the National Maritime Museum at Haifa we already started..

Vast, diversified, surprising, beautiful, inspiring, colorful, resourceful, and plentiful are some of the words that describe the world of water that surrounds us. It is a place to escape to that we all find comfort at, especially during tough times. I was trying to capture in one video a glimpse of all that.

Big Kudos to Moran and Gili, owners of Seamor dive school for their generous way of thanking the ones that protecting us. Thier initiative of providing refresh dives, free of charge to the boys and girls in reserves is heartwarming and a pure goodness.
Thier giving in those hard times is encouraging.
We will dive with them again for sure.
If you are looking for a super friendly and professional dive shop in Eilat don't look anywhere else. From Tamar and me they have big thumb up 👍

Shark Tale 🦈

Telling the stories of my Sharks diving at Israel Museum in Jerusalem. The brilliant kids were curious and asked witty questions. Looks like new sharks divers are expected soon 🙂

Sharks as an Apix predators are at the top of the food chain and their presence at a dive site is the proof of a healthy and stable ecosystem. Providing and sharing knowledge about the sharks is the way forward to protect them.

Next Generation is into making a difference and be responsible for our maritime environment 👌💪
