Vinnie Classroom If you don't want to be stuck learning 3 songs for exams every year, take two exams. You'll learn 6 songs. Just kidding.

Come learn an instrument with us and have fun with a variety of repertoire and activities! Vinnie Classroom was established in January 2014 as a provider of music education. Although the name is new to the scene, Vinnie Classroom represents a team of vibrant and dynamic music teachers, all with at least 3 years' teaching experience under their belt in conducting lessons one-to-one, small group and classroom environments. Each of our teachers are fully-certified, active practitioners of various music disciplines, and some are performers in their own right. And with regard to keeping current to be relevant to students of all ages, it's serious business to us. And that is why we make it a point to gather every 2 months to share our teaching experiences, materials and skills. Students of our music school can expect instrumental and theory lessons tailored to stimulate their musicality, pique their curiousity and harness their ability, all while staying on track to meet their musical goals, be it formal music examinations or to be a rock star. Our students will not just learn how to play an instrument, but also learn to play music and appreciate music. We also provide thoughtfully-crafted music programmes for primary schools, run by our experienced AMIS instructors. These include guitar, ukulele, keyboard and music IT programmes and are designed to introduce uninitiated students to the wonderful world of music through engaging lessons relevant to current trends and well-loved classics. We aim to nurture students' understanding and appreciation of music, at the same time providing them opportunites to showcase their talents and realize their potential. Every member of this band played their part beautifully, creating a wonderfully balanced performance of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” We could clearly hear Sherene carrying the melodies and delivering her fuzz-powered ukulele solo, while Luc provided a steady foundation on bass. Kaitlyn filled the arrangement with beautiful keyboard layers, and Aiden kept everything moving with a solid beat and perfectly timed drum fills. Leading the band on acoustic guitar was Femke, who confidently guided everyone and brought the song to a clean ending with her cue.

Although we may not always get every decision right, but we will always choose what we believe is best for our students. But with teamwork like this, I certainly wouldn’t mind letting this bunch rule the world! 🌍

Our students brought the classic rock anthem “Eye of the Tiger” roaring to life! 🐯With Shaan driving the beat on drums, Hema powering the keys, Luc holding it down on bass, and Ezra and Arienne rocking the guitars, the band filled the stage with energy, teamwork and determination! A performance worthy of the song’s fighting spirit!

Sometimes the strongest encouragement is not spoken, it is shown. Despite not feeling his best, Kelvin brought his guitar to surprise the audience with an electric guitar solo right at the audience seat! In that moment, he was not simply performing, he was showing his boys what it means to love, support and stand beside one another through every challenge. Joined by Ryker on drums, Kaiser on keyboard and Joy on acoustic guitar, they brought “Danger Zone” to life and reminded us that when children see their loved ones believe in them, they learn to believe in themselves.

Who says piano teachers only play the keys? Zee took over the drumset and seriously inspired many in that room! Meanwhile our student Evan played the ukulele and his brother Dylan performed on the keyboard. Their performance even inspired their little sister, who left the show excited and asking to begin music lessons too!

Who ya gonna call? 👻 This band brings together the three Lee brothers! Zachary, the eldest, on guitar; Benjamin, the middle brother, on drums; and Matthias, the youngest, on ukulele. They were joined by our bass teacher Sean and piano teacher Zee for a playful performance of the Ghostbusters theme! Music truly runs in the Lee family, and it has been such a joy watching the brothers learn and grow with us at Vinnie Classroom since they were tiny little boys.

The teachers of Vinnie Classroom kicked off the evening by showing their students how it’s done! Teachers are more than instructors, they are role models whose actions inspire the discipline, attitude, and standards their students carry forward. By stepping onto the stage and giving their best, our teachers showed that leading by example is one of the most powerful lessons we can share.
