Our October group comprised of 6 pax - exploring and discovering the gems of Sri Lanka. There were many highlights but all agreed that THE highlight was observing 2 leopards at the Yala safari. As it was off season, we had the luxury of admiring them at leisure. Enjoy the video. If you want to see these magnificent creatures, and Sri Lanka, contact us at [email protected].

The mystic of Bhutan where Happiness is a Place was revealed during the INTRIGUING BHUTAN Presentation at the Japanese Association Singapore on 2 April 2016. We were privileged to have a Bhutanese as a co-speaker. Jigme shared his personal insights about his place of birth. One couple was so fashionably late, they missed the whole presentation! But in keeping with the Bhutanese culture of happiness from within, Aveens obligingly rendered a "one-on-one" presentation. They departed with a sense of fulfilment and enlightenment. The highlight for the Japanese nationals participants was the July/August 2016 package where they can enjoy Drukair's promotional airfare as well as the tariff liberalization offered by the royal government of Bhutan. The package must be confirmed on or before 30 April, 2016 to secure and leverage on this very special promotional deal.

Another Aveens' exploration of a scenic part of Bhutan often missed in favour of the more iconic landmarks of Paro and Punakha. This is Haa Valley located further west of Bhutan and the Paro District. We had a lucky break as it snowed the night before and we were therefore treated to a fresh fluff of snow; so fresh, we tasted some; so fresh and moist that we made snowballs out of them. The roadways were impassable for the early birds (like the bird watching enthusiasts) but we were there late morning so all roads were accessible then. We were blessed with good fortune throughout this day trip of Haa.
