Happy international tourist guide day to us! 😁 С всемирным днём экскурсовода нас! 😁
I do not have many photos of me guiding tours🤷🏼‍♀️ so here's a photo of me in front of St. Michael's church, a masterpiece by our brilliant architect Jože Plečnik.
I firmly believe that tourism and hospitality are all about authenticity, human connection and interpersonal interaction. From my viewpoint, it's all about the people - no AI can do this. 😊 To be honest, chatgpt is also clueless about what trees grow at Prešeren square next to the stairs of the Franciscan church 😉 (and no, it is not an uncommon question 😉).
And even though guiding is not my full-time job anymore, I'm always happy to show our beautiful city to visitors. Also, guiding a tour of Ljubljana still makes my heart skip a beat 💚
