Najdaljša gorska stena v Sloveniji in Julijskih Alpah, Loška stena, leži v osrednjem delu Triglavskega narodnega parka, med Bavšico in Loško Koritnico. Stene teh dvatisočakov Julijskih Alp so lepo vidne iz Loga pod Mangartom, od koder se vrhovi dvigujejo več kot 1000 m visoko. Lep pogled nanje pa se odpre tudi s ceste na prelaz Predel. Greben Loške stene je dolg 5 km in poteka od Plešivca preko najvišjega vrha Briceljka (2346 m) do Krnice. (Bovec.si)

The longest mountain face in Slovenia and in the Julian Alps, Loška stena, is situated in the heart of the Triglav National Park, between valleys of Bavšica and Loška Koritnica. The slopes of these over 2000 meters high mountains are clearly visible from village Log pod Mangartom, from where summits rise for 1000 m and higher. Beautiful view towards Loška stena opens also from the road towards Predil mountain pass. The 5 km ridge runs from Mt. Plešivec to the highest summit of Mt. Briceljk (2346 m) to Krnica. (bovec.si)
