Poznamo mnogo zgodb o teh koncih, o različnih bitjih in ljudeh, ki so oblikovali to dolino, ki ji rečemo dom.
Ena izmed njih je o Govicu. Tudi mi ga imamo, našo hiško Govic. Govic je veličasten in redek hudourniški slap, skriva se na južnem pobočju Pršivca, približno 130m nad Bohinjskim jezerom. Pojavi se ob zelo močnih nalivih, po legendi je za izbruh slapu zaslužen sam zmaj Govic. Ta naj bi spal na dnu brezna. Ko ga zvišan nivo vode požgečka po trebuhu, se razjezi in besno maha z repom ter s tem povzroči bobneč in silovit izbruh mogočnega slapu. Ko se nivo vode zniža se zmaj umiri in zadovoljno zaspi nazaj.

One of them is the story of Govic. And we have one of our own, too: our little chalet studio, Govic.
Govic is a magnificent and rare torrent waterfall, hidden on the southern slopes of Mount Pršivec, approximately 130 metres above Lake Bohinj. It appears only during very heavy rainfall. According to legend, the eruption of the waterfall is caused by Govic the dragon himself. They say he sleeps at the bottom of a deep chasm. When the rising water tickles his belly, he becomes angry, furiously swishes his tail, and causes the thunderous and powerful eruption of the mighty waterfall. When the water level drops, the dragon calms down and happily falls back asleep.
