Trout season for me basically ended, been a super busy one, that is why I haven't been posting, simply not enough time. As part of our efforts to modernize and future-proof our services, we have implemented two key activities that combine digital transformation with responsible tourism practices.

Participation in a sustainable tourism event focused on digital and sustainable tourism solutions. This multi-day B2B event provided valuable opportunities to connect with industry peers, explore innovative technologies, and gather insights to guide the future development of user-centered digital tools.

Development and implementation of a custom application prototype for real-time river condition monitoring. With the support of an external expert, this solution enables our guides to optimize fishing routes based on water flow and levels, significantly reducing unnecessary travel and minimizing our carbon footprint.

This project is co-funded under the COASTOUR – Sustainable and Resilient Transformation of the Rural Coastal Tourism Industry programme, supported by the European Union (EU) through the Single Market Programme (SMP COSME).

Through the integration of smart technology and sustainable principles, we aim to contribute to the growth of a more resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible rural coastal tourism sector.
