The Alps to the Adriatic journey continues. 🚴

A small part of the route was covered by train, in Goriška Brda they climbed the lookout tower and waved hello to Italy, and the days usually ended with spectacular sunsets. 🌅 And along the way, there were always a very well-earned local specialities after long days on the bike.

Btw, can we talk about how well they’re rocking our Visit Goodplace jerseys? Who wants one too? 😎

Another one is underway! 🚴 This Bike Slovenia Green: Alps to Adriatic adventure began with a group of travellers from the USA and one couple from Australia.

Peričnik Waterfall, Lake Bled and Jasna are already behind them, while the turquoise Soča Valley and the Adriatic still lie ahead. 🌊

Our guests from the USA, UK and Australia have officially waved goodbye to the Bike Slovenia Green Gourmet Route after an unforgettable journey across Slovenia. 👋

The second half of the adventure brought a scenic train ride, time exploring Slovenia’s oldest town, Ptuj, an open-air concert, a cycling loop around Maribor and of course, plenty of delicious flavours along the way. 😋 This time, they didn’t just taste local dishes — they also tried preparing some themselves.👨‍🍳

We strongly believe that after every rain comes sunshine. ☀️🚴‍♀️

That’s exactly what happened to our current guided Bike Slovenia Green Gourmet group. After a few rainy days in western Slovenia, the weather has finally turned in their favour as they made their way further south-east through the country.

But even on the rainy days, spirits stay high thanks to great company and plenty of delicious local specialities along the route. 🍷🧀

Wishing them many more sunny kilometres ahead!

A few more happy faces from the road. 🤗 Our private guided group of 16 guests and 2 guides has just wrapped up their Bike Slovenia Green Alps to Adriatic journey. Judging by the smiles, it looks like they had a wonderful time together.
