We strongly believe that after every rain comes sunshine. ☀️🚴‍♀️

That’s exactly what happened to our current guided Bike Slovenia Green Gourmet group. After a few rainy days in western Slovenia, the weather has finally turned in their favour as they made their way further south-east through the country.

But even on the rainy days, spirits stay high thanks to great company and plenty of delicious local specialities along the route. 🍷🧀

Wishing them many more sunny kilometres ahead!

A few more happy faces from the road. 🤗 Our private guided group of 16 guests and 2 guides has just wrapped up their Bike Slovenia Green Alps to Adriatic journey. Judging by the smiles, it looks like they had a wonderful time together.

Today, we’re sharing a few more moments from the road as our guests made their way from the Alps towards the Adriatic Sea.🌊

Our guest from the USA, Leslie, summed up the experience better than we ever could:

What a week it has been. 🚴‍♀️☀️

From the Alps towards the Adriatic, our Bike Slovenia Green guests from the USA, Australia and Canada have now passed the halfway point of the journey with our guide Ana.

There have been some seriously hot days 🥵, challenging climbs, incredible alpine views 🏔️, a refreshing stop at Lake Bohinj 💦, sweet cherries in Brda🍒, Karst prosciutto 🍗, a quick coffee stop in Italy ☕️ and plenty of laughter along the route.

And today, one special couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with us. Cheers to many more! 🥂

Thank you for bringing such great energy to this tour. Just a few more kilometres before we reach the Adriatic Sea. 🌊

Pre-season moments from our guide crew meet-up in Koroška.

This year, we headed to Koroška, where our local guide Mitja showed us the region the best way possible: from the saddle. 🚴

We spent the day riding up and down the hills, laughing non-stop, sharpening our skills, and soaking up the trails. (The toughest ones kept grinding the descents well into the late afternoon and again on Sunday morning.)

We had amazing homemade food at Rotovnik Plesnik Farm, who also hosts our Backcountry Gravel guests. 🙌🏻

Season 2026 — we’re ready to roll.😎
