We’re not saying goodbye to summer just yet. Well, at least our 🇺🇸 guests aren’t.

They’re currently riding the Istria to Adriatic cycling tour. ☀️🚲

They’re only a few days in and have already cycled through three different countries. Not bad for the start of a trip, right?

Let’s see where the road takes them next.

Nine riders from 🇨🇱, 343 km, almost 8,000 metres of climbing and one self-guided MTB route from the Alps to the Adriatic. 🚲

That’s the Trans Slovenia 01 tour. A mix of Alpine trails, the Soča Valley, Goriška Brda, the Karst and finally the sea.

Judging by the smiles, they chose well. 😄

Six days on the bike, plenty of Slovenia in between, some unpredictable weather — and one very happy group at the end.

Now, this might just be one of the most positive, high-spirited groups we’ve ever had. 😄

Five minutes into the ride and they were already soaked to the bone: shoes turned into little swamps, hair you could wring out, clothes dripping wet. Then came lightning and ear-splitting thunder. ⚡️

Somehow, once again, the only thing that never got damp was their mood.

You go, guys! Fingers crossed for a sunnier weekend ahead. 🤞☀️

Our Alps to Adriatic crew got properly soaked yesterday — but apparently, not even that could kill the mood. Just look at that energy. 😂

And after a rainy day on the bike, there’s really only one way to warm up properly: w**e tasting in Brda. 🍷

2 Australians, 4 Americans and our guide Ana are two days into Bike Slovenia Green Alps to Adriatic tour. 🚲

So far: good food and company, wet feet,a local craftsman workshop and some pretty decent views. Not a bad start. 😄

Now, on towards the coast. 🌊

The journey of our 🇺🇸 guests from the Alps to the Adriatic continues. After fueling up on fresh grapes, it was time to head for the sea. 🌊

First, they tried their hand at stone carving in the Karst — and did surprisingly well. 👏🏻 Then they said hello to the Lipizzaners and hopped back on their bikes, following the old Parenzana railway route to Koper.

Just in time to catch the last days of summer by the sea. ☀️

The heatwave is finally behind us. Just in time for our two guests from the 🇺🇸, who are currently riding the Bike Slovenia Green tour from the Alps to the Adriatic by e-bike with our guide Živa Hartman

They made a little detour to Planica to see if another ski flying world record was in the making. Looks like they’ll have to come back in winter for that one. 😉

Now the Alps and the Soča Valley are behind them, and they’ve reached the Karst.

There’s more to tell, but right now they’re too busy picking ripe grapes in the vineyards. 🍇😋

New tour alert: MTB Elba is coming in 2027! 🚵🇮🇹

Ride the trails of Monte Calamita and Capoliveri Bike Park, past abandoned mines, the Red Lake, vineyards and olive groves.

Add fresh seafood, homemade pasta and local w**e and trust us, Elba is hard to resist. 😉
