Slovenian town of Slovenske Konjice hosted the traditional International day without the wheelchair. At the city's swimming pool people from several generations from young-lings to people in retirement met. Disabled, rescuers and divers met and emphasized that water treats everyone equally. In the last few years Slovene cities in Western Slovenian region have made a big step in making public areas and institutions more accessible for people with different kind of disabilities. Na Primorskem so v zadnjih letih naredili korak v pravo smer s ciljem poboljšanja dostopnosti javnih institucij za invalide. Več pa v video novici.

Na upravni enoti Nova Gorica v zadnjih letih vlagajo v boljšo dostopnost storitev - od prilagojenih šalterskih mest in ohranjanja krajevnih uradov do obiska na domu. Podobne prilagoditve uvajajo tudi na Idrijskem, kjer nameščajo zvonce, taktilne oznake in protizdrsne podloge.

Great result for Slovene men para-basketball National team. In Croatia's capital Zagreb at the World B division championships they finished second, only losing to Israel in the finals. Both teams have now qualified to the A division of World's para-basketball championships. Slovenia returned to the elite status after 23 years of waiting.
