Speaking at the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation reminded me just how interconnected our region truly is.

This year’s focus on collaboration, sustainability and resilience felt especially relevant. For those of us working along the Adriatic coast, we see firsthand how tourism can either strain or strengthen local communities. And we know which path we want to take.

I shared a few insights from our experience in Koper and along the Slovenian coast — a region small in size but rich in stories, nature and dedication. There’s real momentum in the Mediterranean right now. Grateful to be part of the conversation shaping its future.
