Would you like to feel the pulse of a 1000 year Škofja Loka, while it hosts 2,500 runners of all generations? In that case, you are invited to a Run & Fun Weekend, which you can spend more or less actively. Everything will revolve around the 4th Four Bridges night Run (4BR), which ranks as one of the best and most beautiful runs in Slovenia and Europe. It will begin on Friday - 12th June - with a

fun-running-themed get-together and »pasta party«. On Saturday morning Roman Kejžar, an athletics coach and one of the best Slovene marathon runners in history, will ensure a good warm-up, in the afternoon we will all cheer for the school children run and in the evening at 9 o'clock the Four Bridges night Run will take place on the 10 km track through the streets of Škofja Loka, full of cheering spectators, culminating in the city square. But Saturday will not end there, after the event there will be a sporty-party at the finish line, with a live band performance which will go on till the small hours of Sunday morning. On Sunday you will embark on a historical trek along the Three Castles Route and end the weekend with a local speciality – loška mešanica – which is a type of stew.

RUN & FUN WEEKEND 2019

You can choose to spend the weekend being active, or be less active and just soak up the sights and sounds. The weekend will revolve around the 8th Four Bridges Night Run (4BR), which ranks as one of the best and most beautiful runs in Slovenia and Europe.
