In 2021 our founder Johannes was trained for two intense weeks by NOLS to become a certified Wilderness First Responder. Theory, practice and role playing was combined into a very immersive and humbling learning experience - resulting in a broad knowledge of how to assist people with health issues - in the wilderness.

๐ŸŒŠ Meeting Mountains is, as the name implies, focusing on land activities and when we arrange for our guests to go on the Soฤa River we collaborate with agencies who hire experienced white water instructors. However, to get more insight and understanding, two years ago our founder Johannes took a course to become a recreational whitewater rescue technician.
