Dear Friends and Valued Customers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we stop our mountain biking guiding services. Over the years, we've had the incredible pleasure of guiding you through some of the most breathtaking trails and sharing unforgettable mountain biking adventures.

Maintaining our operations has become increasingly challenging, especially as the demands and landscape of the industry evolve.
Bigger agencies flooding the market with marketing teams and budgets for advertising are hard to compete with.
Little to no contribution to the efforts in maintenance and infrastructure became quite frustrating to be honest. The shift towards e-bikes, shuttleservice, ... while exciting for many, does not align with the passion and vision that has driven us since the beginning. Managing everything alone, from trailbuilding, maintenance, marketing and social media presence has become too much to continue.
Our lives have changed a lot in the past few years and we want to focus our energy on our small homestead and other outdoor activities.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your support, enthusiasm, and love for mountain biking have been the backbone of our journey. We've cherished every ride, every smile, and every shared moment on the trails.

Thank you for being part of our story.

It's been a while since I posted anything bike related.
It's been a busy period and motivation for biking and trailbuilding was pretty low. Last season was pretty anticlimactic. Years of trails washed away together with my hopes and dreams 😂.

But it wasn't all bad. I managed to finally get my licence as mtb-guide.
We had a pretty succesfull kidding season with our goats. From 4 to 9. One bottle fed goat is also proving to be quite the adventure. Luckily they grow up pretty quick.

So, time for bikes again. I managed to clean most of the trails, some parts still need to be done. But step by step. And the first step is to stretch those legs and spin those pedals.

If you are not sure where your next mtb adventure must take place? I'm pretty sure this place is going to leave an impression.

18 september was my 40th birthday.
I gained some weight, calmed down a little, learned to think before I act, but above all I learned to appreciate small simple things.

Good friends, good food, good times, nature all around us, the best dogs, going hiking, hunting, collecting firewood, riding bikes, building our farm just like we want it...
I have never been happier in my life, and that's all because i'm sharing it with my girlfriend turned wife. To find someone who is equally crazy to drop everything you are doing and move to a deserted farm in the mountains, that should be enough to bring you happiness.

We didn't choose the easiest path in life. But it's damn sure the scenic route. The kind of path where the journey is just as rewarding as the destination.

To the next 40, at least!

With the extreme weather behind us, it's now time to clean up.
We have been very lucky compared to other parts and villages in Slovenia.

Where others have entire houses to clean...
I have just trails to clean.

There is plenty of work ahead of us to clean all the trails and forest roads.

So better not waste our time.

This season will be one to forget as soon as possible.
First huricane winds leveling entire forests and blowing roofs of.
The previous days we received rain that flooded half of Slovenia.

People lost everything, roads washed away leaving people stranded and isolated.

We are lucky that we live high and dry.
I'm not going to complain about lost trails after seeing all the damage people suffered.

The cleanup and repairs of this will take months if not years.

We had some crazy storms pass the previous nights.
Power outages, floods, trees down,...

Not too mention the damage to the trails.

One trail is passable again, but the damage is pretty bad. It's going to take a while and a lot of manpower to get them all done.

Pretty cool and original. Custom painted limited edition brake pads.

We have been really busy and still are to finish our accommodation.

This serves as a good reminder that I need to get on the bike!
