Hiking is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Norwegian landscape and get to know your surroundings more. Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to find a hike and what you need to bring, so we have made a list with some useful tips below!
1. To find a hiking trail in your vicinity, download the app ut.no which has tons of hiking trails as well as information about each trail
2. Plan your trip and inform others about the route you have selected
3. Pack and be prepared for all weather. E.g an extra jacket, socks, sweater can be very helpful if the temperatures drop unexpectedly
4. Bring enough food and water
5. Don't be ashamed to turn around
6. Enjoy the nature! (So make sure to not leave a trace.

Did you know that Northern Norway has tons of beautiful white sand beaches? And that the water is a vibrant turquoise? AND that there are tall towering mountains in almost all directions?! 🤩 This incredible location is on the island of Andøya, the northernmost island in the Vesterålen archipelago 🙌
