🇸🇰🏰 BECKOV castle stands on a steep 50 m tall rock. We can see harmony between the natural setting and architecture.
The castle from late 12th century was originally owned by the King and later, at the end of the 13th century it fell in hands of Matúš Čák. Later in 14th century the family of Stibor of Stiborice bought it. The next owners, the Bánffys who adapted the Gothic castle to the Renaissance residence, improved its fortifications preventing the Turks from conquering it at the end of the 16th century. When Bánffys died out, the castle was owned by several noble families. It fell in decay after fire in 1729.
This castle has lots of legends. One of them narrates the origin of the name of castle derived from that of jester Becko for whom the Duke Stibor had the castle built.

We have great news for you! The tour season 2021 is now OPEN! 😊🥳 The first trip is going to be organized already next weekend. The only condition- negative Covid-19 AG TEST no older than 2 days NEEDED. 🦠☝🏻

It's been a long and tough period of time friends, which unfortunately still persists. We feel sorry that we had to stop guiding you via our beautiful homeland, but the situation requires it. 😌However, we are still here and cannot wait to undergo another amazing adventure with you guys as soon as the government restrictions allow it. Untill then, please stay healthy. 💪🏻💚

🇸🇰 Our TOUR 7: Another nice trip to Orava. 🏰 For people living in western Slovakia was a forest covered by snow a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed it to the greatest extent. 🙃 3 beautiful places in one day - good job friends! 😊

🇸🇰 Our TOUR 6: Who said a Sunday must be a lazy day? The last one was full of amazing views, adventurous hiking spots in Malá Fatra, great people and stunning sunset. 😍 Our second 1-day trip had only one flaw – it lasted only one day. :D We are so keen on continuing to show you the beauties of Slovakia, guys and the last trip was a great one again. The sun-drenched Trenčín Castle is just a paradise for any romantic soul. Ghada, Efi and Arnao, thank you for a nice company! 😊

Kto povedal, že nedeľa musí byť deň ničnerobenia? Posledná bola plná úžasných výhľadov, dobrodružných turistických chodníkov v Malej Fatre, skvelých ľudí a očarujúceho západu slnka. Slnkom zaliaty Trenčiansky hrad je jednoducho rajom pre každého romantika.
